As a very frequent visitor to the park I would like to comment that off-lead walking is not a health issue, failure to clean up after dogs is. Furthermore walking dogs on leads in that area will not prevent them from toileting if they need to. The vast majority of dog walkers do clean up after their dogs. I do hope that FOWP will reconsider their efforts with regard to dogs and their owners.
