Giant Hogweed has been found by the irrigation pond and beside trees on the Golf Course. It has been treated and will be monitored.
The tree was planted in memory of Scott at the request of Margaret Butterfield who works at the Co-op. Scott died of a brain tumour and left behind his wife and two young children. Scott and his family were regular walkers in Westminster Park and it is hoped the memorial tree will bring back memories of happier times.
The Friends of Westminster Park Annual General Meeting is being held at 8.00pm on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at Westminster Park Community Centre, Five Ashes Road, Chester CH4 7QS. We hope you will be able to attend.

Thank you so much to our amazing volunteers today. We achieved so much. Tomorrow will see planting of the wildflower areas, more de-turfing for later bulb planting and completion of pond digging. Hope to see more volunteers on Sunday – any time between 10.00 and 16.00.
